Make24 privacy policy.

This policy covers Make24 for iPhone and iPad. The app is developed by Stuart Malcolm. For questions about your data, contact hello@stuartmalcolm.uk. This page also covers visits to the Make24 website and support email.
Your app data and iCloud
Puzzle progress, solve times, streaks, saved results and app preferences are stored on your device. Progress and history can sync through your private iCloud account. Game Center handles leaderboards and achievements when you use those features.
No separate Make24 account is required. iCloud sync uses the Apple Account signed in on your device and Apple’s services.
App usage analytics
Make24 uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand how the app is used and to improve it. Recorded activity includes screens viewed, puzzle starts and completions, solve times, scores, achievement and leaderboard activity, sharing actions and purchase activity.
The analytics service also processes app-instance identifiers and device, app and usage information. Purchases and tips are processed by Apple, and purchase events are also recorded in analytics. The app does not collect your payment card details.
The current app does not provide a separate switch for turning off usage analytics. For a privacy enquiry or a request relating to analytics data, email hello@stuartmalcolm.uk.
Advertising and your choices
The free app uses Google Mobile Ads (AdMob). Advertising may also be supplied through mediation partners including Meta, Unity, InMobi, ironSource and Liftoff. Which providers serve an ad depends on the advertising configuration and your choices.
Advertising services can process device or advertising identifiers, IP-derived location, interactions with ads and diagnostic information to deliver, measure and protect advertising. Where required, a consent form appears before ads can be requested. Make24 may also request Apple’s tracking permission.
You can revisit Privacy Preferences in Make24 Settings when that option is required and available. Apple tracking permission can be changed in your device’s privacy settings. Ad-free access removes advertising. Neither ad-free access nor changing advertising choices turns off the separate app usage analytics described above.
Notifications and purchases
Optional reminders are scheduled on your device. You can change reminder preferences in the app and notification permission in your device settings. Apple handles App Store payments, subscription management and restoration.
Retention and deletion
App records are kept on your device and, when sync is available, in your private iCloud storage. Removing the app does not necessarily remove copies held in iCloud, Game Center or Apple purchase records.

Analytics retention is governed by the Google Analytics settings for the app. Contact me for information about retention or a request concerning analytics records; an app-installation identifier may be needed to identify the relevant records.
Your privacy rights
Depending on your location and the processing involved, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, or to restrict or object to processing. Contact me to make a request. You may also raise a concern with your local data protection authority; in the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office.
Third-party services
Apple and Google operate services internationally. Their privacy and data-processing terms describe how those services handle information and transfers. Relevant information is available from Apple, Firebase and Google, including Google advertising.

The Make24 website
The website does not set cookies or load advertising, third-party analytics or tracking pixels. Its examples run in your browser and do not change your app data. Cloudflare processes technical request information to deliver and secure the public website; see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
